SMALL ANIMAL SERVICES

Routine services

We love seeing your pets for their regular boosters and anti-parasite treatments. Our vets enjoy making a genuine connection with clients and pets over their lifetime so that we can understand your pets almost as well as you do!

Small animal surgery

We perform routine surgeries, including spaying and neutering on a daily basis and offer personalised advice as to the best time for your pet. (please see our advice sheets page for more information)

Pregnancy & heat management

We are able to run in-house cytology to detect if your bitch is ready to mate, and we are able to perform an ultrasound for pregnancy detection from 32 days.

Puppy & kitten services

Getting a new puppy or kitten is a very exciting time!

We offer advice prior to and following the arrival of your new pet.

Puppies and kittens can be vaccinated from 8 weeks and we can talk through parasite treatments, behaviour management and future health at your first appointment.

Please ask our staff about how or Pet Health Plans can save you money on your puppy or kitten's routine health treatments!

Diagnostics

We have a brand new imaging suit which includes a digital x-ray facility and abdominal ultrasound.
Several of our vets have received additional training in ultrasound and radiography, e
nabling us to reach fast, safe and reliable diagnoses for your pets

Blood sampling

We have just installed a brand new state of the art blood analysis machine. This machine will allow us to run even more tests in house, helping our clients to get faster results at a lower cost.

Please ask our vets about the additional services we now offer if you would like to know more!

Senior pet check

As our pets start to get older they are more likely to develop diseases such as arthritis, kidney failure, endocrine problems including thyroid disease and more.  If we can detect these issues before they progress, together we have a better chance of managing them more effectively and allowing our pets to continue with their happy lives for longer. In order to do this it is important that we perform a thorough health check on a regular basis.

Senior pet checks cost £85 and include:

  • Full physical examination

  • Assessment of heart function

  • Blood pressure test

  • Thorough joint examination

  • Weight and diet evaluation

  • Skin, coat and nail examination

  • Dental examination

  • Urine sample evaluation

  • Blood profile

  • Written assessment and future health plan
