Jill (aka Tiny) is our Head Nurse and joined Kebir House 40 years ago next year!
In addition to nursing, Jill manages all of the insurance queries for Kebir House, working tirelessly behind the scenes for clients and their animals.
Her favourite part of the job is meeting all of the puppies and kittens - she has a particular soft spot for dachshunds!
In her spare time she enjoys all forms of dancing and walking her two Wire-haired Dachshunds, Mabel and Maud.
Dawn is from Northallerton and has worked for Kebir House for 11 years.
She has a qualification in bereavement support and is often mentioned in reports from our clients due to her caring nature.
Her favourite part of the job is admitting pets in the morning and discharging them in the evening following surgery as she enjoys providing continuity of care.
In her spare time she enjoys horse riding, and playing with her Miniature Dachshund Brian.
Amy is from Northallerton and joined Kebir House in 2013.
She is currently in her third year of her veterinary nurse training and is nervously preparing for her final exams! With a particular interest in holistic care, Amy runs our weight clinics.
When not at work she enjoys canicross with her Jack Russell Terrier, Reggie (R) and Terrier Cross, Monty (L).
Nicky is from North Yorkshire and has worked for Kebir House for 11 years. She has a BA (Hons) in textile design and an interest in canine behaviour that helps many of our clients.
Her favourite part of the job is working in theatre.
When not working you will always find Nicky on the agility field, working her two Working Cocker Spaniels; Betty and Winnie.
Frankie is from Kirby Fleetham and joined Kebir House in March 2018. Frankie holds a diploma in dog training and is putting this to good use, training her gundog, Diesel. Frankie starts her registered veterinary nurse training this September.
Her favourite part of the job is cuddling puppies and helping sick animals feel better.
Outside of work she has plenty to do showing her pedigree sheep whilst keeping an eye on her 5 dogs, 4 cats and 2 horses!
Louise is from Northallerton and joined Kebir House in December 2018.
Prior to joining Kebir House, Louise was a registered human nurse, but has made the leap into veterinary work.
Her favourite part of the job is that she now gets to see animals every day at work!
In her spare time she enjoys walking and reading, as well as the occasional pub quiz. She has two kittens; Phillip and Salem (pictured).
Alex is from Northallerton and joined Kebir House in 2016. She is currently reading her veterinary degree at the University of Cambridge, but will continue to work at Kebir House during the holidays.
Her favourite part of the job is puppy vaccinations.
When not working she enjoys swimming and walking her Hungarian Vizla, Uma.
